We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager

Amplitude is looking for a full-time marketing and communication manager to join our team and drive the firm’s internal and external communications. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is up for the challenge of building our emerging brand. In this role, you will have the opportunity for growth as you take on more responsibilities with the internal functions and support our portfolio companies.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and increasing the exposure of the brand via the firm’s website, social media and other platforms
• Overseeing firm-wide media relations activities, press releases and other promotional materials.
• Preparing materials for expanding and managing new investor outreach
• Managing the firm’s customer relations management database to track interactions with current and potential investors
• Coordinating marketing with Limited Partners and other stakeholders
• Managing our content calendar and our day-to-day inbound and outbound social channels (eg. email, Twitter, LinkedIn), Amplitude website, Monthly newsletters, Medium blogs and service providers
• Managing quarterly newsletter communications with investors
• Designing, produce, and manage marketing events such as our annual Limited Partner event and networking receptions

The Ideal Candidate

You’re a savvy marketer and writer who takes initiative and welcomes the autonomy that comes with working within a high-velocity environment. You are collaborative, reliable, and able to navigate nuanced relationships in between stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem. You have high emotional intelligence and enjoy working with a diverse, high-achieving team. You are detail-oriented, can juggle many projects at once, and can reliably carry projects from start to finish. You are an excellent communicator, both online and offline. You are also adaptable and able to write for different audiences.

Amplitude hosts a variety of in-person events both with the investor and startup communities across the country. Working with the broader team, you will contribute to making these events memorable and successful. You will also have an opportunity to be involved in brainstorming and creating new events in support of our mission and platform expansion.

Professional Background:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications or a related field;
• 3-5+ years of experience in digital marketing, communications or public relations;
• Experience working in financial services and/or VC
• Experience marketing to high-net-worth individual
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English and French;
• Creative personality and ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences.
• The role is based in Montreal, where you will report to our Leadership team. Amplitude is a hybrid organization where the team typically works in-office 2-3 days per week from our offices. This role will also provide opportunities for business travel to North American and European financial centers.
