About Radiant:

Radiant Biotherapeutics is an innovative biotechnology company advancing a breakthrough multi-valent and multi-specific platform - the Multabody – to deliver the transformative therapeutics to improve human health. Built upon the IgG framework, Multabodies are plug and play, with demonstrated superior potency and efficacy over antibody-based therapeutics. Recently funded and growing, Radiant is looking for scientifically curious and passionate individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, cross-disciplinary, and collaborative environment.

Position

As an Associate Research Scientist, you will be focused on supporting the development of the Multabody platform from the discovery stage through preclinical development. This role involves the development of protein and cell-based bioassays to characterize the function and potency of Multabody therapeutic candidates. This is your opportunity to further hone your tissue culture and analytical skills and learn a wide range of cutting-edge techniques. This role is a fantastic opportunity to make important contributions towards the development of transformative therapies for patients who need them the most.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain mammalian cell lines for in vitro testing of Fc effector function, cytotoxicity, immune cell function and cytokine signaling
  • Work with primary immune cells
  • Develop and perform various bioassays and reporter assays using colorimetric, fluorescence or luminescence detection methods
  • Design and execute immunoassays (e.g., ELISA) for affinity and competition
  • Analyze, interpret and present results at team meetings.
  • Diligently maintain records of experimental data in the Electronic Laboratory Notebook.

Qualifications:

  • MSc degree in Biochemistry, Immunology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or BSc degree with 2+ years of relevant working experience
  • Technical expertise in mammalian cell culture and aseptic technique
  • Prior experience in cell-based immunoassays highly desirable
  • Previous experience in drug development in a pharma and/or biotech environment a strong plus

Who you are:

  • A driven and rigorous scientist who is passionate about improving patients’ lives
  • Highly organized, with excellent time management and planning skills
  • Detailed oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
  • An excellent communicator (written and verbal)
