Congruence is currently seeking for an experienced DMPK scientist with proficiency in the design and interpretation of in vitro and preclinical in vivo DMPK studies. Reporting to the Executive Director of DMPK, the successful candidate will work closely with affiliated CROs and internal project teams to support the progression of compounds through hit-to-lead to Development candidate nomination.

About the Responsibilities

• Communicate and collaborate with CROs for flawless execution of outsourced studies;
• Review reports to ensure high quality data;
• Maintenance of database, ADME requests calendars and tracking records;
• Act as DMPK rep on project team(s) where your main role will be to communicate ADME-PK data and ensure proper interpretation of the results by multidisciplinary team members;
• As required, perform PK modelling and simulations to inform on dosing scenarios and more advanced PK analysis;
• Perform human PK parameter predictions to inform selection of human therapeutic dose;

The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have

• B.Sc, MS or Ph.D. degree in Pharmacokinetics, Pharmaceutical Sciences or Chemistry with at least 7 years of industry experience in a biotech/pharma company
• Strong working knowledge of concepts related to ADME of drugs, pharmacokinetic modeling, and bioanalysis
• Working knowledge of PK analysis software (e.g., WinNonlin, NONMEM, etc.)
• Sound understanding of regulatory guidance related to ADME/PK characterization and drug-drug interactions
• Experience working with external vendors to provide ADME/PK support for drug discovery programs
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Track record of successful problem solving and scientific rigor
• Demonstrated ability to influence and lead others
