The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to become an integral part of our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in bolstering our marketing efforts, enhancing user engagement, and expanding our brand’s reach. This role involves coordinating various marketing activities, including digital marketing, content creation, and event planning, with a goal of helping drive customer acquisition and elevating brand visibility. The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with sales, creative, and operations teams, as well as external partners, to deliver targeted campaigns and communications effectively and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong understanding of project management processes, thriving in a fast-paced environment, and passionate about driving lead-generation initiatives to hit DrugBank's sales and revenue targets. As a key member of DrugBank's marketing team, they will play a crucial role in developing innovative growth strategies.

Reporting to the Director, Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator will:

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various platforms and media to help achieve OKRs and business objectives.
  • Support strategic marketing efforts, including ABM, thought leadership development, digital marketing, lead nurturing, and sales enablement
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to help create engaging and relevant high-quality content for various marketing channels, including guides, blogs, ebooks, whitepapers, videos, case studies, and webinars.
  • Coordinate the logistics for marketing events, webinars, and conferences.
  • Help conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights.
  • Analyze data and compile reports to support marketing strategies and decision-making.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of marketing collateral, promotional materials, and sales tools.
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, as well as data and reporting.

About You

  • You can legally work in Canada.
  • You have 2-3 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in healthtech or B2B Saas.
  • You have experience with marketing software and tools (e.g., HubSpot, Asana, Salesforce, Marketo, Google Analytics).
  • You’re detail-oriented with strong project management and excellent prioritization skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • You’re a self-starter who can work independently and hold themselves, team members, and collaborators accountable for deliverables.
  • You are data-centric, with strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze campaign effectiveness and calculate ROI
  • You have a strong understanding of digital marketing principles and tools.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • You have a creative mindset with the ability to generate new ideas
  • You can take feedback well, and use it to continuously improve.

Bonus

  • You have worked in startup and scaleup environments and are interested in pursuing a new opportunity in a similar-type company.
  • You have experience working on a highly technical product.
  • You have an understanding of the pharmaceutical or healthtech industry.
  • You are actively involved in your local marketing community - either through meetups, coaching, or networking.
  • You are proficient at Mario Kart racing (or willing to learn).

Please note the starting salary range for this role is $53,000 to $60,000. The exact salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and our compensation philosophy.
